    The Ummul-Qura calendar of Saudi Arabia has the rule - the Moon should set after the Sun in Makkah and the New Moon should have taken place before Sunset over Makkah. If these conditions are met, the day begins the following day. If not, it begins the day after.

    Could you please post the astronomical rules (New Moon should happend by such a such time etc) by which the Hijra Calendar that you publish is fixed?

    Rasool (s.a.w s) did'nt tell to see each and every person or states, countries, provinces the moon. if any one is identified the moon is there the all are compelled to follow this in the world. There is no prove sunnath that rasool and sahabath celibrete eid or any other thinks in 2 days .
